HHS receives just about every type of wild animal you can think of from raccoons, to snakes, to chickens, to opossum, to bears, to deers, etc. We cannot adopt these animals to the public, thus they treated for medical injuries and then transferred to wildlife preserves once rehabilitated. HHS is licensed to rehab and transfer accordingly.
