That Halifax Humane Society has a thrift store? Well, you are in luck--because we do! Located in the heart of Ormond Beach's downtown district at 333 West Granada Blvd, in the ACE Hardware and Gold's Gym Plaza--we are in the back, behind ACE. Our store houses over 5,000 sq/ft of treasures and deals galore! Unlike most stores where you have to wait for special days of the week or coupons to get a deal, our store is 50% OFF STORE WIDE EVERY DAY! And the fact that we are open 7 days per week means that there is always a convenient time to save! Not only will you save money on our new and like new items ranging from clothing, furniture,electronics, jewelry, pet supplies and housewares--but your purchases help us save lives! What could be better than that? So grab a friend or two and check out what you have been missing! Oh! And we are pet friendly, too! Not to mention we have Blackwood premium pet food, Himalayan Pet Treats, flea preventative and grooming products made right here in Daytona Beach! So there is truly something for everyone--including your furry family member!

Volunteers Needed!
If you would like to volunteer at the Halifax Humane Society but prefer not to be in direct contact with the animals, you can still support our cause by helping us at the Thrift Store. We always need help unloading donations from cars, stocking shelves, pricing items, assisting customers, etc. If interested please contact Meg at 386-322-7717.
DONATIONS ACCEPTED!
Monday - Saturday between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and Sundays 12 pm - 3 pm.
Donations can be dropped off at our store 7 days a week! Monday-Saturday 10-3* and Sundays 12-3* (*Donation drop off window may shorten during heaver donation periods due to store reaching capacity. We kindly ask that you do not leave donations outside of the building due to the possibility of vandalism or theft.)
Please do not drop donations for the Thrift Store at the shelter. We greatly appreciate your donations, but we are in the process of a renovation and have no where to store Thrift Store type donations. Please take donations directly to the Thrift Store. Thank you!

Donation pickups of large household items, furniture or large quantities can be scheduled by appointment on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Due to the volume of generosity shown by our community, we are unable to come out for one bag or items that could be transported by personal vehicle. Every donation is important to us and we will do our best to accommodate our donors. Donation pickups are limited to Eastern Volusia County only.

NOTICE TO ALL PEOPLE WHO DONATE:
Once you donate to the Thrift Store, you are giving up ownership. We try to check in items the same day and there is a good chance the items will be available for sale within 24 hours. We cannot be responsible for items that were donated in error. (example: donation of grandpa's old suits without checking the pockets first and then finding out from grandma that one of the suits had $1000 in the breast pocket.) We are not responsible for this loss. You are responsible for checking all items prior to donation. Once an item is donated it is no longer your property and you are giving up all rights to said property. The public is not allowed in our storage room nor do they have the right to demand that we contact all people who made a purchase in the last 30-days. We do not know who made purchases. Most purchases are cash and there is no record of the purchaser. CHECK YOUR ITEMS PRIOR TO DONATING. Thank you!
