There are a variety of ways to get involved with Halifax Humane Society! We offer opportunities for all ages and specialties.
Want a pet now, but can't make a 15-year commitment? Have time and space to help a homeless animal? Want to make a HUGE difference in the life of an animal? If you answered yes, then you could be a perfect foster care parent!

We make updates to Facebook on a daily basis. We also cross post to Twitter and Instagram. When we have needs such as fosters for kittens, or dry dog food due to increased strays after a hurricane, the most effective method of communication to the public is through social media.

We can always use another partner to help us care for our community's animals. Whether a pet food donation, or a monetary contribution, we are always very grateful.
Many partners donate their time or services to HHS. Helping us maintain our campus is a very valuable resource and much appreciated.
Our Retail area offers a full-line of mission based pet accessories, food, and supplements for your best friend. Our Thrift Store is considered one of the best in the area. Located at 333 W. Granada Blvd., this store offers clothing, furniture, and other items.
