Beach Buddies & Home for the Holidays

Give an adoptable animal a much deserved shelter break by letting them have a visit to a nearby beach or park with you, their best new buddy!

 

Halifax Humane Society’s Beach Buddies Program - NOW EXPANDED!
allows you to hang out with a furever friend, and give a homeless dog some fun in the sun (or wherever you choose!)

 

Give us a call and we will pair you up with one of our buddies for the day, for a sleep over or for a 3-day pass! We will provide you with the supplies and suggested locations to visit with your buddy.

 

At the end of the time, you can return your buddy or adopt the animal! Either way, you’ve just given a shelter animal the

BEST TIME EVER!

 

Home for the Holidays is the same program, but can be extended for up to a month if needed. (same price as the 3-day pass)
