Shelter Tours & Birthday Parties

HHS tours are meant to educate the average consumer about our mission, our philosophies, our accomplishments and our goals for the future.

 

The main campus facility was completely renovated and reopened June 29, 2019.

As we continue to update our facilities to best serve the animals in our care as well as our guests, our mission remains clear. In June 2020, we added a 4th exercise area for the dogs.

Birthday Parties

​

We began to offer our Education Room for birthday celebrations for up to 20 people. Unfortunately, COVID-19 came upon us and all but one party was canceled. Now that we have been given the go ahead by the state to have up to 50 people in a spaces, we can offer birthday parties once again.

​

Looking for a different venue to have your child's next birthday party? How about at HHS! If they love animals they will have a total blast! Shelter tours, Ambassador dog visits, and more! You supply the food, drinks, decorations, and presents, and we will provide the room with private entrance, videos, music, and ANIMALS! For availability, email barryk@halifaxhumanesociety.org
